Treatment of acne

Acne is one of the world’s most common skin conditions.
It affects more than the 80% of adolescents, and up to 50% of adults over 25 years.

Acne results from obstruction, bacterial colonisation and inflammation of the sebaceous follicles. Most often bacteria propioni cause this problem, called P. Acné. We use the Omnilux blue light to activate exogenously administered or endogenously formed photosensitisers or chromophores inside the cell, forming singlet oxygen and other trasient free radicals, thus destroying the target cell. Light absorption by target cells induces changes in membrane.

 

TREATEMENT :

SCHEDULING :

• 2x4 treatment with red and blue light
• 2 times weekly for 4 weeks

Acne-caused skin problems can be removed with Erbium-Yag laser!
